His journey began at First Jubilant Holiness Church in Norfolk, Virginia, under the mentorship of Bishop Harold Wentsley, where his passion for ministry ignited during his teenage years. After serving four years in the United States Navy, traversing lands near and far, Pastor William returned to Norfolk, dedicating himself to the congregation of Tabernacle Voices of Deliverance Church under Bishop Rudolph and Prophetess Irene Tucker. Here, he served faithfully as an Armor Bearer, Men’s Ministry leader, and ordained Deacon, honing his leadership skills and deepening his commitment to God’s people.
Driven by an entrepreneurial spirit, Pastor William carved a successful career path, including a decade at American Sheet Metal, before venturing into his own thriving trucking company, where he has excelled for over three decades.
In 1990, Pastor William and Pastor Magaline Knox co-founded New Beginnings Deliverance Church. Initially contributing as the church's lead guitarist, Pastor William later heeded God's call to preach. His journey led him to earn his Minister’s License in 2000 and ascend to the role of Pastor in 2002, assuming a leadership mantle within the ministry. Pastor William’s ministry has been marked by a steadfast dedication to empowering men to embrace their God-given roles in ministry, their homes, and their communities.

Pastor Magaline Knox
Pastor M. Magaline Knox is a chosen vessel, entrusted by God to proclaim and teach His Word in the heart of Norfolk, Virginia. Since October 1990, Pastor Knox has faithfully served as the Senior Pastor of New Beginnings Deliverance Ministries, Inc., leading countless souls on a transformative journey of faith.
From a young age, Pastor Knox felt the divine call of God upon her life. Under the mentorship of Bishop Harold Wenstley at First Jubilant Holiness Church in Norfolk, Virginia, she cultivated a deep passion for worship and service. Her calling led her to become a missionary, dedicated to spreading God's love and teachings within her community.
Later in life, Pastor Knox found guidance at Tabernacle Voices of Deliverance Church, under the leadership of Bishop Rudolph and Prophetess Irene Tucker. There, she contributed as a Sunday school teacher, member of the Missionary Board, and an integral part of the Hospitality Committee, further enriching her ministry experience.
Educated within the Norfolk Public School system and later at Norfolk State University with a focus on Education, Pastor Knox embarked on a career in teaching within the Norfolk Public Schools, specializing in Adult Education. However, she soon answered God's call to full-time ministry, earning a certificate in Divinity from the Evans Smith Institute of Ministry in Richmond, VA.
Under Pastor Knox's leadership, New Beginnings Deliverance Ministries has flourished, nurturing numerous organizations within its fold. Notably, her commitment to leadership development has birthed a class that imparts foundational principles from God’s Word to current and aspiring leaders.
Beyond the church walls, Pastor Knox's dedication extends to her community involvement, including service on the Norfolk Mental Health Committee Board and hosting empowering workshops for women and youth. Initiatives like "Sister Helping Sisters" reflect her passion for guiding women towards spiritual, personal, and professional wholeness.
A dynamic preacher and teacher, Pastor Knox embraces the challenge of urban ministry, driven by a profound desire to witness lives transformed by God's grace. Her unique style of teaching resonates deeply within her congregation and beyond, fostering a community where purpose and faith converge.
Pastor Knox has been married to Pastor William Knox, Jr. for 40 years, and together they have raised two sons, Elder William Lamont Knox (Darlene) and Elder Antonio Knox, as well as embraced two adoptive daughters, Harmony and Ziaona. Their family is blessed with nine grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
